Terry L. Colbert

 For the past ten (15) years Mr. Colbert has directly managed financing, operations, paid advertising, search engine optimization (SEM and SEO respectively) and secure website hosting for Consultel, Inc. Consultel is a website design and website hosting company that offers its clients one stop shopping for their website, social media and eCommerce needs. Most of Consultel’s clients are in the medical/healthcare industry and Business to Consumer and eCommerce.

Being that most of Consultel’s clients are in the healthcare industry, Mr. Colbert has developed security and website backup measures to help prevent foreign actors from hacking the websites Consultel hosts and has also developed website backup services so any website Consultel hosts can be back up and online within minutes of being damaged by administrators or bad actors.

Mr. Colbert also owns a small manufacturing company, C-Clear, that makes anti fog lens cleaner products. He has been manufacturing C-Clear since 2000 and sells the products to safety companies, medical supply companies and to F100 companies primarily located in the US and Canada.

Prior to manufacturing C-Clear and providing Consultel with website SEO, SEM services to Consultel, Inc. Mr. Colbert spent eight (8) years as an Investment Banker with Boles & Company, a merchant and investment banking firm headquartered in Washington DC. During his tenure with Boles and Company he worked with numerous companies advising them in their efforts to raise operating capital via equity and debt financings. He also represented business owners and/or senior management in their efforts to sell or buy companies. Mr. Colbert has personally negotiated the sale or purchase of over 48 companies in the $20MM to $100MM annual revenue niche.

Prior to Boles & Company, Mr. Colbert served as Chairman, CEO and President of Communications Central, Inc., a publicly traded NASDAQ company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. CCI was the second largest provider of pay telephones and inmate phones in the United States, CCI owned and operated over 24,000 payphones and over 5,000 inmate lines in correctional facilities in twenty-three states that had annual revenues in excess of $100MM. During his nine (9) year tenure at CCI, Mr. Colbert also served as Chairman of the American Public Communications Association (“APCC”), headquartered in Washington, D.C. with over 1,500 corporate members.

As CEO and Chairman of CCI he led efforts to raise over $30.0 million in equity and $120 million of senior debt to finance corporate expansion and daily operating expenses. Mr. Colbert was directly responsible for the CCI’s acquisition of over thirty companies. As Chairman, CEO and President, he also led CCI’s 1993 Initial Public Offering (“IPO”) on the NASDAQ exchange. During his tenure at CCI, annual revenues grew from less than $5,000 a year to over $100 million a year.

Mr. Colbert attended the University of Houston majoring in business and human biology and later the University of South Florida where he further studied business management and human biology. Sponsored by Northern Telecom, he earned an Executive MBA and has been a guest speaker at commercial underwriter seminars on the mechanics of IPO’s. He has also served as a guest lecturer to MBA candidates at Vanderbilt University on the IPO process and how a publicly traded company’s senior management group has to balance daily operations, ongoing growth strategies and everyday business issues versus the company’s “public face” shown to stakeholders, shareholders, news media, investors, main street (banks) and Wall Street (investment bankers, stock analysts and stock traders).

Moving from Las Vegas, Nevada to Largo, Florida in early 2016, Mr. Colbert is the father of two grown children. His leisure pursuits include digital currency, n0n-fungible tokens (NFTs), digital art using photography, sport fishing, and performing simple magic and illusions.

Mr. Colbert is trained in First Aid, CPR, AED application and is an American Red Cross volunteer. He is also a member of the FBI’s InfraGard unit and a graduate of Las Vegas’ Citizen’s Police Academy (2014) and Pinellas County’s Citizen’s Police Academy (2019).
